The Principle of Cause and Effect

The Hermetic Principle of Cause and Effect, the sixth of the seven Hermetic Principles outlined in The Kybalion, teaches that "Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause." This principle emphasizes that nothing in the universe happens by accident. Every event, situation, or condition we encounter is the result of an originating cause—whether conscious or unconscious.
